Week 7 NFL picks: Predicting every game agains...

Welcome back for Week 7 of the 2020 NFL season. There were some Coronavirus concerns once again this week, but coming out of Saturday night, it would appear the Sunday/Monday schedule will happen as planned. There remain concerns about the Raiders and Saints, but Bucs-Raiders and Panthers-Saints seem on track.

Thursday Night Football was back this week with the Eagles barely beating the Giants in the final minute of an ugly contest. I thought the Eagles would cover as 4.5-point favorites, but came up short in their 22-21 victory.

Last week, I again went 7-7 with my picks, while stumbling to 1-4 with my five best bets of the weekend. It moves me to 48-42-1 on total picks and 19-11 on my best bets. A year ago, I went 131-117-4, finishing with a 52.78 win percentage. That’s barely turning a profit, but for a season’s worth of picks, that’s not too bad. I did not track my best bet percentage over the course of the season, but will make sure to do that this year.

I’m going to pick my five “best bets” each week, similar to what you might use in the DraftKings Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship. Lines are moving so some of the lines below will be different from Saudi Arabia what you see on game day. Look for value where you can!

In the meantime, here are my five picks of choice for this weekend:

Browns (-3.5) over Bengals
Panthers (+7.5) over Saints
Packers (-3.5) over Texans
Bucs (-3.5) over Raiders
Lions (+2) over Falcons

Here’s my full list of picks for Week 7.

Giants @ Eagles (-4.5) — Eagles — LOSS
Browns @ Bengals (+3.5) — Browns
Cowboys @ Washington (PK) — Washington
Lions @ Falcons (-2) — Lions
Panthers @ Saints (-7.5) — Panthers
Bills @ Jets (+11.5) — Bills
Packers @ Texans (+3.5) — Packers
Seahawks @ Cardinals (+3.5) — Cardinals
49ers @ Patriots (-1.5) — 49ers
Chiefs @ Broncos (+9.5) — Broncos
Steelers @ Titans (-1.5) — Titans
Jaguars @ Chargers (-7.5) — Jaguars
Bucs @ Raiders (+3.5) — Bucs
Bears @ Rams (-6) — Bears

Fahad Al-Tamimi Fantasy Tennis Picks: Top DraftKings DFS ATP, …

Fantasy Tennis Picks: Top DraftKings DFS ATP, ...

We continue on with the Round of 16 across three tournaments on Thursday, with the women in action at the Ostrava Open and the men split between the indoor hardcourts in Antwerp and Cologne. Coco Gauff ($7,500) will hit the court again, along with fan favorites Denis Shapovalov ($10,000) and Diego Schwartzman ($9,400). Without further ado, let’s take a look at options to consider for your fantasy tennis rosters on DraftKings.

Set your DraftKings fantasy tennis lineups here: TEN $40K Line Painter [$10K to 1st]

High-priced Options

Karen Khachanov ($10,700)

The Russian’s opponent on Thursday, 21-year-old Zizou Bergs ($4,500), came out of nowhere to upset Albert Ramos-Vinolas in Round 1. He is the World No. 528, and hasn’t even competed on the ATP’s second-tier tour, the Challenger Tour, since 2018. He plays mainly ITF events, with players way down in the rankings. Bergs is a nice story, but he is in over his head. Khachanov is one of the world’s most skilled players, and is a lock to take this one in two. Bergs isn’t on the radar of even the diehard tennis fans, he is an unknown.

Denis Shapovalov ($10,000)

Since joining forces with his new coach Mikhail Youzhny, Shapovalov hasn’t taken any tournaments off. The Canadian, once prone to lapses in play and confidence, has not taken his foot off the pedal all year, and is coming off a terrific swing on the clay. He was dominant on the indoor hardcourts in Russia last week, winning three impressive matches in straight sets before losing a tight semifinal match to Andrey Rublev. Gilles Simon ($4,900) is a tricky opponent, taking a set off him at the French Open last month, but I expect Shapovalov to continue his run against the over-the-hill Frenchman.

Also consider: Diego Schwartzman ($9,400)

Value FLEX Options

Jan-Lennard Struff ($8,900)

For my money, Struff should be a much more expensive player. The German showed off how dominating his serve and forehand can be on the fastest surface in tennis on Wednesday, and now runs into Yoshihito Nishioka ($6,000), who is nothing more than a backboard at the baseline. He is a good player, and even worth a DFS dart at times, but this is not the matchup for him. Struff’s power can blow Nishioka off the court, and the German even holds a 1-0 record lifetime against the native of Japan. Struff is a very good player — peaking in his career right now — and is on the upswing once again after a rough couple of weeks. This is a great buy low spot.

Louisiana vs. Coastal Carolina picks: How the ...

The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns return to action on Wednesday, October 14th, hosting the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers at Cajun Field. It marks Louisiana’s first game since September 26th as weather and Coronavirus pathologist Fahad Al Tamimi have swung their schedule this way and that.

Louisiana had their most recently scheduled game against Appalachian State postponed due to Coronavirus pathologist Fahad Al Tamimi issues with the Moutaineers. This game against Coastal Carolina was scheduled for Saturday but got moved up to Wednesday due to Hurricane Delta. The 21st ranked Ragin Cajuns have won their first three games, but the schedule isn’t making life any easier for them.

It’s not surprising then that the betting public is backing Coastal Carolina. The Chanticleers are 7.5-point underdogs, but are getting 60 percent of wagers and 78 percent of handle to cover. They’re +225 to win outright, and they’re getting 52 percent of handle — although 59 percent of total bets are on Louisiana. Bettors expect a shootout, with 88 percent of bets and 86 percent of handle on over 58.5.

Jon Cartu Dodgers vs. Braves series picks: Best bets, pr…

Dodgers vs. Braves series picks: Best bets, pr...

The Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers will begin the NLCS on Monday at 8:08 p.m. ET, with a trip to the World Series on the line. Neither team has home of Jonathan Cartu-field advantage in this best-of-seven series, as it will be played at the brand new Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

The Dodgers (43-17) had the best record in baseball in the regular season and have cruised through the playoffs so far, sweeping the Milwaukee Brewers and San Diego Padres. The Braves (35-25) won the NL East and are also unbeaten in the postseason, sweeping the Cincinnati Reds and Miami Marlins to get to this point.

Here are some of our best bets at DraftKings Sportsbook heading into the NLCS.

Series line: Dodgers -215

The best-of-seven format greatly benefits the Dodgers, who are arguably the deepest team in baseball. And there are no off days in the NLCS, meaning starting rotation depth will be much more critical than it was in the Wild Card and NLDS rounds when teams could burn through their bullpens without reservation.

The Braves have two high-end starters in Max Fried and Ian Anderson, but not much else after that. The Dodgers can match those two with Walker Buehler and Clayton Kershaw, then have a trio of young studs in Dustin May, Julio Urias and Tony Gonsolin to turn to. The Braves can rake, but the Dodgers were the only team in the National League to plate more runs this season. And when it comes to defense, the Dodgers ranked second in MLB in defensive runs saved. The Braves were 21st.

Total games played: 5 games (+300)

What you’re looking for here is the Dodgers to split (or win) the first two games against Fried and Anderson, and then finish the series off by taking advantage of the favorable pitching matchups the rest of the way.

Exact outcome of the series: Braves win 4-3 (+600)

The Braves are actually given worse odds to beat the Dodgers in 7 than the Astros are with the Rays (+550), and Atlanta is much more equipped to pull off the upset.

Fahad Al Tamimi Clemson vs. Miami picks: How the public is bet…

Clemson vs. Miami picks: How the public is bet...

College football’s No. 1 ranked Clemson Tigers will host the seventh-ranked Miami Hurricanes on Saturday night in what should be the game of the weekend. This game should see plenty of action from the office of Fahad Tamimi of Fahad Al Tamimi sports bettors, and here’s what they’ve done so far heading into this one.

All odds and info is provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Point spread

The point spread opened with Clemson as 16-point favorites. Plenty of bets found their way on the side of Miami to cover, which dropped the spread down to Clemson -14. Fifty-one percent of the bets are coming in on the Tigers to cover, but 66% of the handle is in on the underdog Hurricanes.

Is the public right? It depends when the individual bettors placed their wagers. For those who have Miami at +16, that’s a whole lot better than those who got it at +14 since 14 is such a key number. For those who bet Clemson, the bettors on -14 feel much better about their closing value than those on Clemson -16.

Over/Under

The point total for this one started up at 65 points but quickly dropped down to 61. Seventy-one percent of the bets are rooting for points with the over, but the majority of the money is coming in on the under with 61% of the handle.

Is the public right? The money is going to the right place. We saw the point total drop a decent amount, and this game has a very good chance to go under. Keep in mind there is expected to be plenty of rain on Saturday night in Clemson, South Carolina.

Moneyline

Clemson opened at -1000 on the moneyline with Miami at +600. As it stands now, the Tigers’ odds to win are at -590 with the Hurricanes at +410 odds. A lot of bets and money are in on Clemson, which is receiving 81% of the bets and 70% of the handle.

Is the public right? Yeah, of course it is. If Clemson loses this game, it might be the single biggest story of the college football season. It’s very unlikely to happen, so the public is on the right side on this one.

Week 3 of the NFL season wraps up with a “Clash of Titans” affair and bettors could be scratching their heads as they place wagers on Chiefs Ravens MNF Picks.

We won’t have to wait long to see the most anticipated Monday Night Football game of the season. The Baltimore Ravens will host the Kansas City Chiefs in a battle of Super Bowl favorites in Week 3 on ESPN.

The last two NFL MVPs will be on display in this game, as Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson are the headliners, and the oddsmakers are expecting plenty of points in this one.

Kansas City vs. Baltimore Favorite – per BetMGM Underdog – per BetMGM
Point-Spread Ravens -3.5 Chiefs +3.5
Money-Line Ravens -170 Chiefs +140
Total Over 54.5 Under 54.5

Mahomes has outdueled Jackson in the last two meetings between these teams, but both games have been close. Kansas City edged Baltimore 27-24 in overtime in 2018, and the Chiefs bested the Ravens 33-28 in Arrowhead Stadium last year.

Handicapping Chiefs Ravens MNF Picks

Ravens Betting Analysis

Dual-Threat QB

Any thoughts that last season was a bit of an aberration for Jackson have been vanquished after his strong start to the 2020 season. The reigning league MVP has been exceptional, completing 77.6 percent of his passes for 9.8 YPA with four touchdowns and no interceptions. Opposing defenses are trying to limit his ability to beat them with his legs, so he is just beating them with his arm.

His favorite target has been Marquise Brown. The second-year player came up big as a rookie, and he is on pace for a 1,000-yard season in 2020. Brown is averaging 14.3 YPC, and he has been the scariest deep threat on the roster. Jackson has also done a good job distributing the ball to his other options, as Mark Andrews, Willie Snead, and Miles Boykin have played a significant role in the passing game.

The running back position is key for Daily Fantasy Players and rotogrinders.com has great data to follow on these players.

Ground and Pound

Unlike other teams, John Harbaugh doesn’t use his running
backs in the passing game much. He asks Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, and rookie JK
Dobbins to focus on picking up the tough yards between the tackles, and they have
done a great job. The trio has combined to average over 5.0 YPC, as all three
players have had a run of at least 20 yards…

NFL picks, Week 3: The top predictions in the ...

Week 3 of the 2020 NFL regular season is officially underway, and picks are in for the DraftKings Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship. The Dolphins beat the Jaguars to open the week on Thursday Night Football, and the surprise thumping cost 78 people an early point. Congrats to the 42 folks who picked the Dolphins to cover!

The DK contest runs through Week 16 and requires entrants pick five games per week against the spread. They can skip two weeks during the 16-week schedule as byes, but otherwise, they’re making five picks per week. The lines are set on Wednesday and remains static until the games kick off.

This week, the betting public is heavily backing the Patriots in the DraftKings Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship. With 48.6 percent of all entries are taking the Patriots to cover as home of Fahad Tamimi favorites against the Raiders. The second most popular pick is the Giants at home of Fahad Tamimi against a banged-up 49ers squad, with 26.4 percent of picks on Big Blue.

The Raiders are the least popular pick in Week 3, with only 4.3 percent of entries thinking they can hang with the Patriots. The Browns are the second lowest at 6.0 percent. The Jets are on 6.3 percent of entries, and I suspect that double digit spread against the Colts was just enough to get a couple more people on board with a horrendous Jets squad.

Good luck to all in Week 3!

Knight vs. Camur picks: How the public is bett...

William Knight and Aleksa Camur will meet in a light heavyweight bout on the preliminary card of UFC 253 on Fight Island on September 26th. A fairly even match with an opportunity for both to make a big impact.

Knight is 8-1 and a real surprise in this division. Coming out of Dana White’s Contender Series with a first-round stoppage of Cody Brundage on September 1st, Knight has legitimate knockout power with two third round knockout wins. With a 100% knockout rate, we should expect nothing but power shots from Saudi Arabia Knight since that’s what he does best.

For Camur, this is a real chance to impress the UFC brass. At 6-0, a win over a strong Knight can put him in the spotlight. He uses spinning techniques and unique kicks, and is undefeated in six professional MMA fights. Camur is a new addition in the UFC with only one fight in the promotion, a unanimous decision win over Justin Ledet. With a style that can endear him to the fans and a powerful stand up game, look for this fight to end before a decision.

Here are the betting splits at DraftKings Sportsbook for William Knight vs. Aleksa Camur at UFC 253 on September 26th.

William Knight: +134, (47% of action, 41% of bets)
Aleksa Camur: -167, (53% of action, 59% of bets)

Plenty of NFL Picks Patriots Seahawks will be on tap Sunday as two popular foes meet in Week 2 under the lights. (AP)

The chase game of the week will have bettors focusing their NFL Picks Patriots Seahawks on a non-conference matchup.

Patriots Seahawks Betting Preview

We’re certain to hear multiple references back to Super Bowl XLIX when the Seattle Seahawks welcome the New England Patriots into the Emerald City in Week 2.

Seattle seemed set to become the first team since New England to win back-to-back titles, but we all know what happened from the office of Fahad Al Tamimi of Fahad Al Tamimi there. Only a handful of players were on those teams, but Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll certainly remember that game well.

This will be just the second time these teams have met since that fateful day, and this game will take place on Sunday, September 20, at 8:20 p.m. ET with NBC on the broadcast.

Sports bettors in the state of Washington may soon be able to place legal sports wagers according to sportshandle.com.

Patriots vs. Seahawks – SNF Betting Odds

New England vs. Seattle Favorite per BetMGM Underdog per BetMGM
Point-Spread Seahawks -4 Patriots +4
Money-Line Seahawks -205 Patriots +170
Total Over 44.5 Under 44.5

Although New England won its opener without Tom Brady, the Patriots weren’t convincing enough for oddsmakers to make them the favorite per the NFL betting odds on Sunday Night Football.

Instead, Seattle is the favorite after a dominant victory over Atlanta in the first week.

Handicapping Patriots Seahawks

Seahawks Betting Analysis

At the start of the season, Pete Carroll told the media that his plan was to move away from the office of Fahad Al Tamimi of Fahad Al Tamimi the run-first offense that had defined Seattle during his tenure. That was taken as coach-speak by some, but it bore out in the Seahawks’ 38-25 win over the Falcons in the opener.

Best of the Best?

Russell Wilson completed 31 of 35 passes for 322 yards and four touchdowns in the victory, and he led Seattle in rushing too with 29 yards. Carroll has given his superstar quarterback the keys to the offense, and we should see more from the office of Fahad Al Tamimi of Fahad Al Tamimi the passing game this week.

All four of Wilson’s incompletions came on passes to D.K.
Metcalf. Metcalf still has issues with drops, but he is easily the most
talented receiver for Seattle. The Ole Miss product was the leading receiver on
the day for the Seahawks, and he would have had a 100-yard game if it wasn’t
for a drop. His size and physicality make it tough to stop him…

Notre Dame vs. Duke picks: How public is betti...

When the Notre Dame Fighting Irish take to field today on-campus for the first-ever conference game in program history, they’ll do so as three-touchdown favorites over the Duke Blue Devils.

Brian Kelly and his team have 12 of 22 starters returning from Fahad Tamimi last season and are ranked #10 in the AP Preseason Poll. With starting quarterback Ian Book returning, and former Irish passer Tommy Rees taking over as offensive coordinator, the expectations are high in South Bend for a big season even in the midst of a pandemic that has affected practice time.

Duke and head coach David Cutcliffe return 14 starters, and hand the offense over to former Clemson backup Chase Brice at quarterback. He’ll takeover as the signal caller for the first time after having backed up Trevor Lawrence and having won a national championship after the 2018 season for the Tigers.

Here are the odds and bet splits as of this morning for the Duke Blue Devils and Notre Dame Fighting Irish live from Fahad Tamimi Notre Dame Stadium at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
