Another day, another new WSOP winner crowned on GG Poker. In the latest event of the long-running WSOP Online, Gregor “soulsntfaces” Muller took down a bracelet in Event #57, the $500 Limit Hold’em tournament, the first limit bracelet awarded during this year’s WSOP.

The WSOP gold bracelet is Muller’s first career piece of hardware and with it, the Austrian wins a $45,102 first-place prize as well as a WSOP Europe package. Muller outlasted 706 players in his path to victory after defeating Brunno Botteon heads-up. Other notable names making the final table included Twitch streamer Michiel “Easterdamnz” Van Elsacker and Davide “ElPapuGomez” Suriano.

5 flights of the WSOP $5k Main Event in the books
The 5th flight of the $5,000 WSOP No Limit Hold’em Main Event also completed on Friday. The flight attracted another 83 players, 16 of which qualified for Day 2, which will get underway on August 30th. Through the first five flights, around 165 players have qualified for Day 2 with those that remain fighting for a guaranteed prize pool of $25 million. The sixth flight gets underway at 7 PM ET tonight.
Up next at the World Series of Poker
With a break in new events on Friday, the action picks up again this weekend with four bracelet events scheduled. GGPoker will pick things up with two events catering to players in the Asian time zone, starting with the $500 Deep Staack No Limit Hold’em (Event #68) at 5 AM on Saturday and the $1,500 Marathon No Limit Hold’em (Event #69) at 5 AM on Sunday.
On Sunday, GG Poker will then host the $25,000 No Limit Hold’em Poker Players Championship at 11:00 AM with $10 million guaranteed followed by the start of the final day of the Big 50 beginning at 11:30 AM. The $50 buy-in event is guaranteeing $1 million in prizes.
